Langtang Trek
Langtang Trek is an extremely beautiful and the most fascinating destination in the Langtang region. This region is very close to the capital city of Kathmandu and the many types of treks around the valley. Langtang Trek offers to see the spectacular mountains, local Tamang culture, landscapes, hills, and splendid Langtang Himalayas. The Langtang Treks would be the easiest and most acceptable trip in Nepal. The Langtang Trek is a short journey that can be completed within a week from Kathmandu. The Langtang trekking trail passes through Tamang villages and offers glorious views of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Yala peak. Although this trek passes through a comparatively lightly populated stay at village inns at various points along the route. Ascending from just 54m at Trishuli Bazaar to 3820m at Kyanjin Gompa the trail passes through an ever-changing climate and offers trekkers an exceptional diversity of scenery and local culture. Kyanjin Gompa is the highest elevation tea house during the trek but if you are fit you can climb up Cherkuri (5130m)Viewpoint for delightful scenarios.
Wherever the Langtang trek will enter the Langtang National park at Dhunche and the national park entrance fee is Rs 3000 per person. A permit valid would be for 1 month. Around the Langtang areas kept some tourist check post such as Dhunche, Syabrubensi, Gatlang and Ghora Tabela. In 2015 all infrastructure was destroyed by the earthquake and now all guest houses were renovated in 2016 by local people. Probably, Langtang Region is the 3rd popular trekking destination in Nepal after Everest and Annapurna region. The Langtang Trekking trail easily combined the other popular trails like Langtang Gosainkunda Lake Trek, Ganja La Pass, Pangsang Pass, Tamang Heritage Trail, and Gosainkunda Pass with Helambu Trek. It’s the best trekking region to hike around the giant mountains and spend a wonderful time with nature.
